At HD-CBO, volunteers are at the heart of our mission to uplift vulnerable children, youth,
and families in Homa Bay County. We warmly invite passionate and dedicated individuals to
join our team and contribute to meaningful community development through a variety of
projects.
Why Volunteer with Us?
Volunteering at HD-CBO offers a unique opportunity to:
- Make a Difference: Education provides children with the knowledge and
skills they need to secure better job opportunities in the future, reducing the
likelihood of poverty in adulthood.
- Gain Experience: Many girls around the world face significant barriers
to education. Supporting educational charities helps to empower young girls, giving them
a voice and a chance to shape their own destinies.
- Connect with Communities: Educated children grow up to contribute to their
economies, boosting national development and creating sustainable progress.
- Grow Personally: Education is linked to lower crime rates, improved
health, and greater civic engagement. An educated society is a more stable and
prosperous one.

We welcome volunteers with diverse skills and interests, including but not limited to:
